Young Freethought began in November 2009 as a website dedicated to promoting reason and clear thought in the atheism vs religion debate. Essays and articles were published from the UK, US, Singapore, India and more from writers as young as fifteen and as old as twenty one.
We were given a huge boost soon after the site was set up as Richard Dawkins wrote a letter of support praising the work that YFT were doing.
In August 2011 YFT closed down shop for a brief period but now we're back and we want to hear what you've got to say. Our brief is wider this time, so send in articles about anything you like, from history to literature, from current affairs to neuroscience. As long as you display clear and effective reasoning you will be published.
